Welcome and thanks for visiting the East Bernard Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture web site. East Bernard, an early Texas settlement, is located in the fertile farm area of northeast Wharton County on the banks of the San Bernard River. Located approximately 45 miles southwest of Houston, East Bernard living provides the best of two worlds -- the pleasure of small town living and close proximity to cities of Houston, Rosenberg and Galveston.

The East Bernard Chamber of Commerce consists of a diverse group of business owners and individuals who continually strive to capitalize on all that East Bernard has to offer. We host luncheons and mixers throughout the year to give our members an opportunity to network with others, not only in East Bernard but from the surrounding communities. The holiday season is officially kicked off the second Saturday in December as the Chamber organizes the annual Christmas parade. Realizing the youth are our future, we award four scholarships to graduating seniors each year.

Browse our website, check out our Chamber members and see what East Bernard has to offer. Or take a scenic drive and experience our small-town charm for yourself. You'll soon see why "East Bernard is a Good Place to Live".

For additional information about the City of East Bernard, please contact City Hall at 979-335-6558 or email ebcityhall@elc.net
